Beaver safari in West Sweden's only ecopark!

On summer evenings, we embark on an exciting exploration in the beautiful Halle-Hunneberg Ecopark. By canoe or by foot, we navigate enchanted lakes where beavers live, build, and gather. As we approach the beaver's territory, we glide silently closer. We quietly watch the shore where the beaver busily builds its lodge.

Safari in a canoe

Welcome to a canoe tour through West Sweden’s only ecopark — where the beaver reigns!

Keep an eye out for Sweden’s best architects (yes, the beavers!) while our nature guides lead you through the scenic waters of Hunneberg. Along the way, you’ll not only get a chance to see the beavers in action at their lodges, but also learn about their impressive building skills.

This safari is perfect for adventurers of all ages — from young explorers to seasoned nature lovers. The only requirement is that all participants can swim. Be sure to bring sturdy boots and weather-appropriate clothing. We’ll provide a Swedish-style snack to enjoy together during the tour.

Please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking.

Safari by Wagon and on Foot

Join us for a peaceful evening tour through the beautiful nature of Hunneberg, as we search for the beaver in its natural habitat. We begin the journey in an open wagon pulled by an ATV - a calm ride through the forest where you can take in the landscape, the scents, and the stunning surroundings.

As we approach the beaver’s territory, we continue on foot. Our guide will show you tracks, gnawed trees, and hidden spots where the beaver lives and works. With a bit of luck, we may even see the beaver itself building or gliding across the lake in the evening light.

This is an experience for those who are curious and want to enjoy both tranquility and a touch of excitement - a perfect outing for anyone who wants to get close to the forest’s most fascinating engineer.
