The hunt for Hjo's Christmas elves – aboard Lok-Hjo-Motivet

WHAT: Hop aboard the Lok-Hjo-Motivet sightseeing train for The Hunt for Hjo's Christmas Elves, an interactive adventure for the whole family. Keep an eye out for the little Christmas elves along the way and see how many you can spot together.
START: At the Christmas market in Stora Torget, outside Vete & Råg and Hjo-Gotten

WHAT: Come and meet Father Christmas and hand over your Christmas wish list.

Horse-drawn carriage rides through Hjo

WHEN: 12:00–16:00
WHAT: Enjoy a festive horse-drawn carriage ride through Hjo – a lovely experience for the whole family.
START: Outside Hjo Blomster/Yta, on Hamngatan by Samrealparken
PRICE: SEK 30 per person. Children aged 0–3 travel free when seated on an adult's lap. Payment by Swish.
CHARITY: All proceeds go to Save the Children.

Traditional crafts and hands-on activities

Try traditional woodworking at Stadsgården

WHEN: 11:00–16:00
WHAT: Try traditional woodworking using an axe and knife, guided by local craftsman and timber carpenter Fred Lagnemar from Ur Skogen i Handen. There will also be sausages grilled over an open fire and traditional Swedish campfire coffee.
