On the beautiful Swedish west coast, in the heart of the picturesque harbour of Björkö you find Gallery Siljans Bod. The gallery opened it’s doors in 2019 and is run independently by a collective of artists, artisans and other creatives all living and working on the island.
The gallery is situated inside an over 100 year old fishing hut. The members of the gallery have collectively refurbished the inside of the building and restored it to it’s former glory. Amongst the work of it's members you will find a large variety of different art forms, styles and materials. Everything from traditional oil paintings to ceramics and gift articles to clothing – everything produced locally on the island. Welcome in to take a bit of the Swedish west coast back home with you!
