Accommodation with many different activities in fantastic countryside

Kalvs Skolhus is a unique hostel and study centre that was once the local school. The classroom and the gym have both been preserved as they were once and are great to book for different group activities, either for families, events and conferences, clubs and associations, groups of friends, sports teams or church groups.

Bright rooms for families, couples, companies or parties

The bright, pleasant rooms are on two floors and have eight bedrooms, a total of 36 beds for 2-6 people in each room with bunk beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a classroom that serves as a conference room, a living room with TV, free WiFi, a seating group and a pool table. The building also has a small gym where you can play table tennis, floorball or arrange a theatre play and there is a sauna in the basement. Outdoors there are barbecues, a barbecue hut, garden furniture, a small football pitch and large asphalt and grass areas. You can also rent bicycles and canoes - ask when booking. There are also 8 spaces with electricity for motorhomes; toilets and showers are in the school building. Book for one or two people or rent the whole building for parties or larger groups.

Go glamping!

In a scenic forest grove you’ll find Kalv's comfortable and luxurious glamping tents. Equipped with comfortable double beds, seating furniture, refrigerator, utensils, barbecue, outdoor furniture and cozy lighting. Each tent have ready-made beds and accommodate two adults or two adults and two children in extra beds. Shower / WC in the basement of the schoolhouse and hot-water sink is available outdoors.

Close to the countryside, camping and local attractions

Kalvs Skolhus is in a wonderfully quiet setting, but it is still close to several attractions and local excursions. The small grocery store and Kalvs Familjecamping are both within walking distance, where you can rent canoes and boats, enjoy coffee and cakes and buy a fishing licence.

You can also make a day trip to one of the following destinations: Ullared and Ge-Kås (33 km), Gothenburg (100 km), Borås (66 km), Halmstad (78 km) or Växjö (140 km).
