Billingen | It’s easy to fall in love with Billingen, and once you’ve visited this mountain you’ll see why the people of Skövde are so proud of it. Billingen has high quality jogging, skiing and mountain biking tracks. There are all manner of natural experiences to enjoy, and the recreation area has several lakes with barbecue spots and wind breaks that are ideal if you want to enjoy a meal with a difference. There’s also a children’s activity playground built entirely from wood.
Skövde Cultural Centre | You’ll find Skövde Cultural Centre in the centre of Skövde. When it was built in 1964 this was the first centre of its kind in Sweden, housing a theatre, cinema, library and art gallery – all under one roof. You can see performances at Skövde City Theatre, temporary and permanent exhibitions at the art gallery, and films at the cinema. The art gallery has an area for children, where they can discover works of art, create their own art on the pixel wall, or make a stop motion film. All for free!

Aspö Farm | In the summer, visitors to Aspö Farm can meet the pigs, cows and goats. You can also pet cute little rabbits or chat with the ducks and chickens. Nearby, there is an obstacle course for children and a small bathing lake. Individuals and families can visit the farm for free during regular opening hours.
Swim and play in Boulogner Forest | The whole family will enjoy the small bathing lake in Boulogner Forest. Next to the lake are barbecue spots and a fun play area. The park is just a stone’s throw from Skövde’s train and bus station.
