Balthazar Science Center Skövde
Bring your family and experience Balthazar Science Center. Learn more about science, try interactive stations and experiment in a creative environment – it is fun for all ages. You can also have a “Swedish fika” with pastries, sandwiches and much more in the picnic café Kretsloppet.

Vara badhus - indoor swimming pools
If you are in a playful mood - don’t miss the 80 meter long water slide at Vara badhus, which is a public bath with a cultural touch. Why not challenge someone on the climbing wall? There are also children’s pools with varying depths of water and a small slide.

Barnens Hus Tidaholm - indoor playground
Play, create, have fun or take it easy and rest for a while. The children’s house Barnens hus is a paradise for the kids. There are several rooms with different themes where the children can play and challenge their imagination and playfulness.

Barnens minikanal Norrqvarn - miniature canal
This miniature of the Göta canal encourages splashing and playing. See the path of the water between Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern through the locks, bridges and communities of the canal. Rent a toy boat and explore the shallow water.

Arena Skövde - indoor water park
With their generous opening hours 365 days a year, Arena Skövde has been named Sweden’s best indoor water park several years in a row. Try the exciting water slides or relax in the warm pools.

Mössebergs djurpark - minizoo
The zoo is located beside the viewing tower on the table mountain Mösseberg. Meet farm animals such as chickens, mountain goats and pigs. The viewing tower is 35 meters high and is well worth a visit. Fun playgrounds, pedal cars and barbecue areas are also available.

Ekehagens Forntidsby - archeological outdoor museum
One of the largest archaeological outdoor museums in Sweden. In the village you will find reproduced prehistoric settlements and natural environments. You can also paddle log boats or try shooting with a bow and arrow.

Skogsmulleriket Skövde
Around the lake Åsbotorpsjön on Billingen you will find Skogsmulleriket. Here you can visit the houses of Skogsmulle, who is a guardian of the forests, and his friends. In the houses you will learn more about the Swedish nature and its animals. Skogsmulleriket is also suitable for children with wheelchairs.

Minizoo Tibro
An activity for the whole family where you can pet the animals all year round. Bring your kids and experience the country life among chickens, sheep, rabbits and other cute animals. Finish the day with a coffee break in the café. Free entrance.

Bison safari Hjo
On the bison farm in Gate, the whole family can experience a real adventure together. On the safari a guide will take you on a trip among the animals and tell you more about the bison. If you are lucky you can also meet the large bull Bamse. An appreciated adventure for everyone.

Tread the draisine
From Gullspång you can go on the old railway on pedal-powered rail cycles. You will go along the Gullspång river, the lake Skagern and through beautiful forests and meadows. The cycles are easy to pedal, and the whole family can ride along.

Dalénium Science Center
Experience exciting experiments, tricky problems and magical shows at Dalénium Science Center in Stenstorp. In the experiment room you can try, feel and test drive everything you see. On weekends and holidays there are scientific shows and activities.

Skara-Lundsbrunn railway
Go on a tour through a varying landscape on the historic railway between Skara and Lundsbrunn. The carriages and the locomotives are from the first half of the 20th century. The thumps from the rail joints and the odour from the coal smoke contributes to the nostalgic feeling.

Treasure hunt at Forsviks bruk
Discover the old industrial environment at Forsvik’s bruk with a treasure hunt. Follow the map that leads you among the old buildings. Maybe you are the one that will find the hidden treasure!

Experimenthuset Science Center
Next to the mini golf course in Hjo you will find Experimenthuset. This is a science center and a creative place that offers challenges and exciting experiments for all ages.

Raiders of the lost gold reserve
Come with us into the dark underground corridors of Karlsborg’s fortress. To get through the locked gates and grills you must solve the tricky challenges while the mean sergeant Stålhammar is chasing you close behind! For the younger children there is a small gold hunt.

Spökhuset Grästorp - haunted house
Welcome to the haunted house if you dare! The scary places in the house include an old attic, a forgotten cemetery, a dark labyrinth and a desolate hotel corridor where unpleasant surprises await. The haunted house is for adults and children over the age of 12.
