Food

Limmared's glass factory, which is Sweden's oldest operating glass factory, is also called a house of experiences. This includes a fantastic restaurant that serves both lunch and an á la carte menu. Settle down in the orangery and taste the menu before taking part in their large glass exhibition with contents from the 18th century up to today's classic ABSOLUT vodka bottle.

Shopping

Limmared, also known as the antique Mecca, has a whole street filled with cosy second-hand shops that offer furnishings, home furnishings, clothes etc. of very high quality. At Limmared's farm shop, you can buy plenty of local produce and the farm's own meat.

Experience

This day trip invites you to a lovely hiking trail along the Marjeboleden, where you can experience Sjuhärad's beautiful nature at its best. Something we also warmly recommend is to book in a visit to the Rosenhill brewery, which brews locally produced beer with lots of wonderful flavour combinations. Note that a visit here must be booked in advance.

Stay

If you want more of Sjuhärad or wish to end your day trip with a lovely overnight stay, we recommend the unique Erikson Cottage, which allows you to be completely surrounded by nature when you sleep in one of their small glass houses.
