Where to eat & stay

Holsljunga camping & café gives a truly classic Swedish summer vibe. A super popular and beautifully situated campsite with pitches and pitched tents hanging from the trees. Even if you are not planning to stay overnight, you are most welcome to visit the café and the lovely swimming area.

Shopping

To brighten up your day trip even more, this tour is filled with lovely farm shops. At Brohage butchers and Lindåsen farm you can buy tender meat for the evening's barbecue and at Björkåsen's farm shop you can buy fresh and crispy vegetables. Also take the opportunity to visit the vintage shop Atelje Annorlunda, which offers a large selection of second-hand items and stroll among the beautiful flowers and pick your own at Vädd & vallmo.

Discover

An exciting destination along this day trip is Gräne mine, where there is lots to discover. The mine has a rich history that we recommend trying to absorb during a visit. Gräne mine is part of Ekomuseum nedre Ätradalen and is classified as an outdoor museum. Today, it is mainly an outdoor area and has hiking trails of varying lengths including for the very smallest, the troll trail, which is full of mischievous little trolls. For those interested in fishing, we recommend a visit to Stockasjöarna, which is a spring lake perfectly suited for fly fishing. The beautiful scenery lends itself to a wander around the lake.
