Dalsland's Tractor Museum
Mellerud
Dalsland's tractor museum is located in the old animal stables on the farm Rödjan south of Mellerud and was first open in May 2022. Here you will find around 60 vintage tractors as well as a number of implements and other machines. The collection is expanded and changed regularly
The museum has been created by its non-profit members in Traktorklubben Dotorp. Most of the tractors are owned by the members and each tractor has its own exciting story.
Only tractors
The tractor museum is the only tractor museum with only tractors in the Västra Götaland region with tractors from the 1920s and onwards. Here you can find everything from well-known Grållar (Ferguson) and original Swedish Volvo BM to more unusual tractor brands such as German Hanomag and Danish Bukh. All tractors are fully drivable and are used from time to time for the club's activities.
At the museum there is also a small workshop and a cafe. For the children there are playthings like pedal tractors.
