Things to Keep in Mind When Mountain Biking
Always wear a helmet when cycling. There is no general ban on cycling on fitness trails or hiking paths, but these trails are primarily intended for walkers and runners. Please ride with care and be aware that pedestrians and runners always have the right of way.
Tyres with aggressive tread patterns can easily damage trails and sensitive ground surfaces. Adapt your riding style to the terrain and avoid soft or muddy trails, especially during spring and autumn when the ground is wet.
Respect nature – we all share the responsibility of protecting the environment and respecting private property. If you stop for a picnic, please take all litter and food waste with you when you leave. Avoid disturbing birds and other wildlife.
