Hike the 45.5 km long trail on the old trade route between Rävlyckan - Halden (Norway). Hallevägen is part of the Norwegian series of Historical Hiking Trails.
Hallevägen is part of the Historical Hiking Trails, which is a collaboration between the Norwegian Tourist Association and the Norwegian Ministry of Cultural Heritage. The goal of this project is to make old hiking trails better known and used.

Hallevägen is one of the lesser-known trails that was used by people from Bomarken - Rävmarken between Ed and Nössemark on the west side of Lake Stora Le in Sweden who traded with Halden for several hundred years.
Part 1. Rävlyckan- Budalsvika, 8.3 km
Part 2. Budalsvika - Ertekroken, 25,3 km
Part 3. Ertekroken - Halden train station, 10,0 km
There are several places along the trail where you can stop and sleep during the night. The trail is mostly in Norway and is best used by experienced hikers.
